Computer CORE is a community-based, volunteer-driven organization, and partnerships are key to our success. We thank our partners for their commitment to helping students succeed. ► See current partners ↓
Computer CORE welcomes businesses, schools and community-based organizations throughout Northern Virginia to join us in building partnerships to serve workforce development needs in our communities. Our work is expanded by the ideas, resources and people we engage with through these partnerships.
Make an investment: One of the easiest ways to become a partner is to invest in our work, and we have various opportunities for ways to connect. Adopt a class, send a team to help conduct practice interviews or write resumes, or celebrate our students’ success by hosting our graduation. ►Download Corporate Support Opportunities 2017 (PDF)
We offer employee engagement opportunities as well as visibility for business partners that are working to improve the quality of life in our region. Your investment is guaranteed to make a difference today and to pay it forward.
Send a group of students: Nearly one hundred community partners share information about our training programs with their networks. What works best is when a partner identifies a group that can take a class together. It could be clients that need specific skills, parents who want to stay connected to their children and school, or members of a faith community who will support each other over the course of the training.
Host a class: CORE partners with churches, community centers, and schools to run our 6-week and 18 week programs. We help strengthen the connections between our partners and their clients and networks, while also providing valuable computer and life skills for all participants.

Partner Success Stories
Bethel Church Partnership: Bethel Church committed to a partnership with CORE to send 10 members in need from their congregation to CORE’s 6-month program – and beyond that Bethel has offered to provide partial financial support for their training.
UCM Partnership: Since January 2013, CORE has offered our 6-month program at Gum Springs Community Center giving CORE students access to a modern computer lab in that community. In July 2013, our new partnership with UCM created a “bookend effect” around our 6-month class: UCM took responsibility for recruiting students from their workforce center and after these students graduated from our 6-month program in December, the students are assigned a UCM employment counselor to work with them to gain employment.
